Plastic disposal is becoming a big problem these days. To raise awareness against plastic, on 07-08-2024, annually. During the event, children received jute bags and were encouraged to use them for transporting. They also learned about the various uses of plastic and how to use recyclable plastic. Seventy NSS volunteers participated.

They held a rally and held signs highlighting the negative impacts of single-use plastic as part of an awareness drive inside Majidpoor Village. They have gone door to door informing household members about the prohibition on single-use plastics.

The principal, Dr. K. Balaji, and each of the department heads in AIPS, NSS coordinator teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the awareness campaign and made the programme a grand success.
