WORLD PATIENT SAFETY DAY CELEBRATIONS ON 17-09-2026
World Patient Safety Day was observed with active participation from students, focusing on combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and promoting patient safety. Students actively engaged in patient counseling activities, creating awareness about the rational use of antibiotics, medication adherence, and the importance of preventing antimicrobial resistance to ensure safer and more effective healthcare.

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm to honor the invaluable contributions of teachers and commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the renowned philosopher, educationist, and former President of India. Students actively participated in presentations highlighting the importance of teachers in shaping students’ character, knowledge, and future, along with a special recitation expressing gratitude and respect for teachers and their vital role in our day-to-day lives. The celebration emphasized that teachers are the guiding lights who inspire, motivate, and empower students to become responsible citizens.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATIONS ON 29-08-2026
National Sports Day was celebrated on 29 August 2026 with the objective of promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and an active lifestyle. The programme was organized around the theme “Play with Passion, Win with Character”. Students enthusiastically participated in sports activities and competitions. The events created an energetic environment and provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate discipline, perseverance, cooperation and respect for fair play. The celebration also emphasized that sports contribute significantly to both physical and mental well-being.

SADBHAVANA DIWAS CELEBRATIONS ON 20-08-2026 (THEME: UNITY IN DIVERSITY – OUR STRENGTH)
Sadbhavana Diwas was observed on 20 August 2026 with the theme “Unity in Diversity – Our Strength”. The programme highlighted the importance of harmony, mutual respect, inclusiveness and compassion in building a strong and progressive society. Students were encouraged to appreciate India's cultural diversity and understand that unity is strengthened when people respect differences and work together towards common goals. The observance reinforced the message that social harmony and cooperation are essential for national development.

10 CRORE ADDICTION-FREE PLEDGE MEGA CAMPAIGN (NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN & MISSION SPANDAN) ON 18-08-2026
As part of the “10 Crore Addiction-Free Pledge Mega Campaign” under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and Mission SPANDAN, in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris Medical Wing, students actively participated in an awareness-oriented programme promoting a healthier and addiction-free society. The session focused on the harmful consequences of substance abuse and the importance of prevention, awareness and responsible decision-making. Students were encouraged to act as ambassadors of positive change by spreading awareness among their peers and communities.

On 15 August, the institution observed Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The occasion served as an opportunity to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and to reinforce the values of freedom, unity, integrity and national responsibility among students. Students and staff participated in the celebration and reflected on the importance of contributing positively to the nation through education, discipline and responsible citizenship. INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Our students of final year B.Pharm , M.Pharm has visited Sunrise pharmaceutical pvt .ltd and gained multi level knowledge on manufacturing of bulk medicines . Every year Our students visits various other pharmaceutical industries as a part of the industrial visit program since 2005 . This program enhances the student experience and practices in handling the machineries in real time work management. Work flow , work environment and work culture can be absorbed by the students at this learning level.

Seminars & Extension Lectures
It is general practice to conduct various seminars and extension lectures on various topics related to Pharmaceutical Sciences and staff on various technical and academic issues by eminent personalities both from academics and industry.For students, an interaction with luminaries from the corporate / professional world is of paramount importance, scientists, professors and practitioners from prestigious institutions are invited to deliver lectures in the college.







Extra Curricular Activities
At Avanthi, Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, to promote a balanced lifestyle and to build team spirit, managerial skills, enable students to find outlets to beat stress in the highly competitive environment that they have to face in the world today. These activities are taken care by the activity centre which encourages, guides the students to participate in sports, paper presentations, project contests, Health Camps, Awareness Rallies, Student Fests, NSS, NCC various other programmes.
