ACTIVITIES
AVHP believes in creating and disseminating knowledge and skill in core areas through innovative educational programs and developing a new cadre of global professionals. We at AVHP provide a better academic ambience and learning environment for students and faculty. To enrich the knowledge of the students and faculty, various activities have been organized through the Activity Council. Some of them are:
Industry Collaboration (MoU)
Industry-institution collaboration with colleges is crucial for preparing students for driving innovation and research. It provides students with practical experience, industry insights, networking opportunities, career advancements, and skill development.

Industrial Visits
Our final year B.Pharm and M.Pharm students visited Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd and gained multi-level knowledge on bulk medicine manufacturing. Every year, students visit various other pharmaceutical industries as a part of the industrial visit program (since 2005). This program enhances practical experience and allows students to engage with real-time machinery, workflow, and work culture.
Clinical Training MoU
On 19-10-2024, Gleneagles Aware Hospital, Hyderabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AVANTHI INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES to provide Pharm D students with clinical training in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Care, Clinical Research, Case Studies, Interactive Sessions, and Placement Opportunities.
Academic Activities
All value-added courses, Faculty Development Programs (FDP), Student Development Programs (SDP), Quality Improvement Programs, and Industrial Visits are organized annually to foster academic excellence.
Women's Day Celebrations
Our institution (AVHP) celebrates International Women's Day annually on March 8th to honor women's achievements and promote gender equality. It's a day to recognize contributions, raise awareness about gender disparities, and advocate for equal rights and opportunities.
Seminars
Seminars are conducted regularly to enhance students' academic and professional knowledge, keeping them updated with the latest industry trends and research developments.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Our students of final year B.Pharm , M.Pharm has visited Sunrise pharmaceutical pvt .ltd and gained multi level knowledge on manufacturing of bulk medicines . Every year Our students visits various other pharmaceutical industries as a part of the industrial visit program since 2005 . This program enhances the student experience and practices in handling the machineries in real time work management. Work flow , work environment and work culture can be absorbed by the students at this learning level.
INDUSTRY COLLABORATION ( MOU)
Seminars & Extension Lectures
It is general practice to conduct various seminars and extension lectures on various topics related to Pharmaceutical Sciences and staff on various technical and academic issues by eminent personalities both from academics and industry.For students, an interaction with luminaries from the corporate / professional world is of paramount importance, scientists, professors and practitioners from prestigious institutions are invited to deliver lectures in the college.
Extra Curricular Activities
At Avanthi, Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, to promote a balanced lifestyle and to build team spirit, managerial skills, enable students to find outlets to beat stress in the highly competitive environment that they have to face in the world today. These activities are taken care by the activity centre which encourages, guides the students to participate in sports, paper presentations, project contests, Health Camps, Awareness Rallies, Student Fests, NSS, NCC various other programmes.
