National Digital Literacy Mission (‘NDLM’) has been initiated with the vision to empower at least one person per household with crucial digital literacy skills. This initiative in line with NDLM is an effort to complement the government's vision to transform one from each household as digitally literate. The project aims at helping adults with low technological literacy develop the skills they need to interact in an increasingly digital world
Digital Literacy awareness campaigns were conducted by NSS volunteers where NSS volunteers prepared videos about the usage of various online social media, payment system , online banking and videos were circulated through social media to aged groups who were not friendly with this system.
NSS volunteers also visited nearby houses and gave on hand training to senior citizens and equipped them for using various online platforms available. On 12-07-2023, Poshan Abhiyan Awareness among parents and familiarizing poshan tracker app among parents. During 09-09-2024 a follow up program was done by NSS volunteers by preparing a short-term course to enhance the digital literacy skill of parents and old age people.
